Get Involved with the AABC Foundation

The AABC Foundation is always looking for eager volunteers to serve on the AABCF committees.

Join one of these active and critical committees:

• Development Committee - plans fundraising efforts and events - including our annual fundraising gala, the Gala to Grow Birth Centers.

• Giving Committee - reviews grant and scholarship applications for recommendation

The AABC Foundation's mission is to raise funds to support the advancement of the AABC midwifery-led birth center model as a standard to achieve high-value, evidence-based wellness care that is equitable, safe, and respectful.
 
As an AABC Foundation committee member, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop your leadership skills while volunteering with a national foundation.

• Promote women's reproductive health and well-being.

• Support the birth center model of care.

On average, committee members spend 1-2 hours every other month in their role.  Meetings are typically 1 hour and are held every other month on a weekday.
