We've organized workout week as part of the Spring It On! 2020 AABCF Challenge as a way for participants to get more miles in and participate in a group activity in these physically distant times. However, you do not need to be a Spring It On participant to join and there are no fees. See the week's schedule below!

Class Description: Yogilates combines core strengthening exercises with flexibility and balance. Designed to build long, lean muscles while integrating the techniques of pilates followed by a relaxed, restorative vinyasa flow cool down. Beginners encouraged, all levels welcome!
Details: Prepare a yoga mat or other non-slip surface that will suit the purpose. You may also want to have water and a towel handy. If you have yoga blocks, you can prepare those as well.

Class Description: We all are experiencing some kind of challenge, stress, or difficulty during this time, and our go-to options are limited to help ease the tension, bring relief, and even a little peace to our days. Incredibly, we can activate the one option we have - the body, mind, and breath of our being to support, heal, and relieve itself. When we experience stress, anxiety, etc. the shoulders and hips are our frontline of defense absorbing the waves of tension to protect the rest of the body from the shock. In this class, we will create space in those big joints, build strength, get our hearts beating, and our breath flowing giving back to the body that fights for us every day.
Details: Modifications for poses will be offered, but if you have any injury or issue in the body, please be mindful of your own movement. Don't overdo! If you have yoga blocks or a yoga belt, please have those props in addition to your mat. If you are turning on your camera, please position the camera where Rachel will be able to view the entire long side of the mat and you from the side. Try to get as complete a view as possible!

Join Fitness Instructor Katie Dickinson for a 33 minute circuit workout focusing on activating underutilized muscle groups.

Class Description: This workout has elements that help loosen and activate "lazy" or underutilized muscle groups that are super common in individuals with desk jobs, but generally appear with a high frequency in Western culture (even in active individuals!). Katie will start with a brief intro with some simple and effective stretches. You'll then work on activating the glutes in a 5-exercise circuit and then do some upper/back/core work in a second 5-exercise circuit. Katie will then send out a session recap pdf via the Zoom chat. It's a sweat-minimal workout, but given how lazy the glutes tend to be, you may end up feeling a bit of post-workout soreness the next morning (which is absolutely a good thing).
Details: You'll need clothes you can move in, sneakers, water, a yoga mat (or carpet, towel, or other surface you don't mind lying down on). If you have bands or weights, Katie can instruct you on how to add these into the workout.

Class Description: This is a great class for beginners who need to get that technique work in. We will break down the movements from the inside out to best understand the quality of movement as well as build stamina within the technique. An Introduction to Zills (Finger Cymbals) will be applied, learning finger rhythm patterns. ALSO GREAT FOR ALL LEVELS – for brushing up & getting the drills in! Expect a brief warm up & cool down.
Details: Comfortable Pants & hip scarf recommended. If you have Zills (Finger Cymbals), prepare those as well.
